Filter Your Journal to Find Patterns

Aisha, a high-school counselor and mother of three, has over 8 journal entries and wants to spot patterns in when and where her biases show up — especially in social situations.

Steps

  1. Open the Journal tab in the bottom navigation
  2. Tap the filter icon at the top of the journal feed
  3. Filter by bias type — select a specific bias to see all related entries
  4. Filter by situation — choose work, personal, or social to narrow results
  5. Filter by emotion or outcome — find entries where you felt a specific way or had a particular result
  6. Review the filtered entries — look for clusters and recurring themes

What to Expect

Filtering reveals patterns you might miss when scrolling through entries chronologically. You might discover that a particular bias consistently shows up in work meetings, or that your social-situation entries cluster around a specific emotion.

Tips

  • Combine filters for more specific analysis — e.g., "Social + Peak-End Rule + surprised"
  • Look for clusters by time of week — do certain biases show up more on stressful days?
  • Use pattern insights to choose your next weekly focus bias
