How to Read the Upgrade Sheet
Who this is for: Free-tier users who tapped a Plus-gated feature and want to understand what's behind the gate — on their own time, with no pressure.
Jonas tapped Reminders in Settings and found the gate. What he got was a calm explanation that reminders are part of Plus, and an upgrade sheet with an honest tier comparison. No countdown, no guilt, no mid-relief interruption — the sheet is only ever reachable from a gated feature or Settings.
Steps
-
Tap a Plus-gated feature. Reminders and check-ins are the Plus features; the gate explains calmly that the feature is part of Plus.
-
Open the upgrade sheet. The sheet presents the full tier comparison — Free, Plus, and Pro — with benefit-led copy: what each tier does, plainly.
-
Take your time. Nothing counts down, nothing nags, and the sheet goes away when you close it. The gated feature stays gated and the rest of the app stays exactly as it was.
Expected Outcome
You've read an honest comparison of the three tiers. No purchase was made and nothing changed — the sheet is information, not a trap.
Notes
- The sheet never appears mid-relief. Upgrade prompts are reachable from gated features and Settings only — never inside relief flows, the plan view, or episode logging.
- Pricing loads live. If the network is unavailable when the sheet opens, you'll see a clear retry state inside the sheet; the gate explanation stays readable and nothing shows a stale price.
- Free remains complete. The free tier fully solves the core problem — relief flows, plan, log, library, education, and export. Plus and Pro add structure and insight, not necessities.
- Ready to upgrade? See upgrading to Plus.
