How to Upgrade to Pro

Who this is for: Plus members who have logged at least five episodes and want to see the patterns inside them.

Amara's trigger was honest: she hit the five-episode insight minimum and wanted trigger-frequency and technique-effectiveness views. She upgraded because she had data worth understanding — not because a paywall flashed at her. The Pro gate explains the benefit calmly from the gated feature itself.

Steps

1. Open Insights. With fewer than five episodes or a Plus subscription, the gate explains what Pro adds — pattern insights over your own history — with benefit-led copy, in the calm context of the feature you were opening.

2. Choose Pro. Pro is $9.99/month or $99.99/year, and includes everything in Plus (no ads, reminders, check-ins).

3. Complete the purchase through the payment provider. Same flow as Plus: provider-side payment, plain-language errors if a card is declined, no partial entitlement, immediate retry.

4. Start a new session. Your tier re-resolves server-side — sign out and back in, or reload.

5. Open Insights again. Your five (or more) episodes become your first pattern view: triggers, time-of-day trends, and technique correlations.

Expected Outcome

Pro is active and Insights unlocks with your real data — your first patterns, computed from your own logged history.

• The five-episode minimum is the honest trigger. Insights need enough data to say anything true. If you're short, the gate shows your progress toward it — never an error, never pressure.
